The splice shelters (53’ in length and 28’ in width ) provide power and a suitable working environment for the splicing of large vulcanized conveyor belts in hot and cold climates. The environmental control regulates temperatures to allow for high quality splices and keeps the concentration of the combustible gasses released during splicing well below their explosive limit.
