This system consists of two – 2.5MW 5kV horizontal Francis turbines and interconnection with the national grid at 23kV. The project scope for UEE consisted of the design, manufacturing and commissioning of the 25kV interconnection substation, interconnection protection and control system, 5kV generator switchgear, interconnection and generator protection system, plc based turbine/generator control system, human machine interface system, intake power control system and balance of plant/station service subsystems.
The engineering package included complete drawings, testing and commissioning plans, quality assurance documentation, production testing reports, operations manuals, maintenance manuals, installation cable and interconnection schedules.
Site services included all equipment testing, protection verification testing and control system verification testing. UEE also provided operator training and configuration of the remote monitoring and control station.
UEE scope consisted of the Design, Manufacturing, & Commissioning of the 5kV Generator Switchgear, PLC Based Turbine / System for Generator Control, and Station Service Subsystems.
