The project scope for UEE consisted of the design, manufacturing and commissioning of the 6.3kV switchgear, plc based control system, plc based speed control type droop/isochronous control mode governor,human machine interface system, balance of plant (station services) auxiliaries (MCC, DC system, Invertor/UPS system, standby generator), utility interface (status, power quality and metered values) system. The equipment package included the custom design and specification of the generator neutral grounding transformer and generator grounding system.
The engineering package included complete drawings, testing plans, commissioning plans, quality assurance documentation, production testing reports, operations manuals, maintenance manuals, installation cable and interconnection schedules.
Site services included all equipment testing, protection verification testing, and control system verification testing. UEE also provided operator training and configuration of the remote monitoring and control station.
